Low Back Pain

Mechanical low back pain is primarily treated through exercises and changing the way you move your spine to prevent further injury (spine hygiene). These techniques have been researched and tested by Dr. Stuart McGill who is a back scientist at the University of Waterloo. He is present in several of the videos linked to this page. He has published several books on this subjects both for health care professionals as well as for patients to help themselves with their own pain.
